Britney Spears’ two year old son, Jayden, was taken to hospital yesterday after he suffered from a suspected seizure. The family were on a long-overdue trip to Spears’ hometown to visit relatives.

Jayden James was rushed into the emergency room after going into a “vague and unresponsive” state.

The incident occurred yesterday at around 3pm at the family home in Kentwood, Louisiana. The whole family had to travel 25 miles to reach the nearest hospital - the Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Centre -
after being told it would take ambulance crews at least half an hour to get to them.

A source revealed, “One minute Britney and her sons were relaxing and enjoying their first visit to Kentwood in months, and the next minute Jayden had fallen ill,”

The two year old stayed overnight in the ward for observation, after doctors failed to identify the exact cause of the seizure.

Mother Britney, aged 26, stayed with him all night, sleeping in a bed next to him in the ward.

Spears’ ex-husband and Jayden James’ father, Kevin Federline is reportedly organising a private jet out of his Los Angeles home to be at his son’s bedside. The trip was the first time Spears has been allowed to
leave her California home with her sons, Sean Preston, 3 and Jayden, 2, since K-Fed acquired full custody of the children in July.

She took them on a private jet to Loiusiana along with her Dad Jamie on Friday - the day after her shock performance on stage with Madonna in Los Angeles.

Spears was getting in some much needed family time before she embarked on her future promotional tour of new album, “Circus”.

The trip was also important for her as she was to be re-united with younger sister Jamie-Lynn, 17, who has recently became a mother also, after giving birth to daughter Maddie-Briann.
