Kylie Minogue is preparing for her show stopping performance as an Arabian princess tonight, where she will reportedly receive the largest payment of her career.

The pint sized Aussie pop princess will be performing for Arab royalty and A-list stars at the grand opening of Atlantis The Palm, the newest and most extravagant hotel complex in Dubai. She has settled on the bargain fee of £1.3million ($2million).

Amongst the 2000 star studded guests will be Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson, Mischa Barton, Gerrard Butler, Robert De Niro, Charlize Theron, Agyness Deyn and Lily Allen, all of whom will be flown out at a mere £5,000 a head for the lavish £16million party.

However, famed lesbian couple Lohan and Ronson, who recently made a trip to London, will need to to keep a lid on any public displays of affection, as homosexuality is against the law in Dubai.

The guests will be indulged with an extravagant banquet at 9.30pm, before Kylie struts her stuff on the stage just before midnight outside the modest 1,500 room mega-structure.

French designer Jean Paul Gaultier has been commission to create two extraordinary and ‘one of a kind gowns’, specially tailored for the star to shimmy in on stage on the man-made Palm shaped island.

The crowd will be treated to seven of the pop diva’s most popular hits, cheap at half the price of just £185,000 per song. Mere paying mortals will be allowed to watch a second concert the next night.

The no holds barred show will surely be jaw dropping, as organisers are arranging a stunning fireworks display to go off during her performance, which will apparently be six times bigger than the one set of at this summer’s Beijing Olympics Games.

There have been talks of the 40 year old singer demanding an outrageous £2million ($4million) fee at one point, but it seems the star has been swayed after she was offered a stay in one of the complex’s grand Royal Suites. Her dream room is one of just two, and is ordinarily only used for royalty (well she is pop royalty), is 429,000 sq ft and includes a personal butler, jacuzzi and a completely necessary waterfall. Lets hope she’s worth it!
