I hate to disappoint all you single ladies out there, but it looks like hot young Orlando Bloom is well and truly unavailable with recent reports of him proposing to his girlfriend.

Indeed, according to US sources, the Pirates of the Caribbean star has got down on one beautiful knee and popped the question to Australian stunner and Victoria’s Secret model, Miranda Kerr.

There is time yet though girls, as friends of the English actor have mentioned a rushed and grand wedding is off the cards for the moment, with a date for late next year being more likely.

The couple have yet to publically announce the engagement, and Bloom’s agent has declined to comment.

An insider said, “They are talking about settling down and getting married in a year. They have had a bit of crazy year, but they do love each other and she wants to be his wife.”

News of the engagement came recently after the annoyingly perfect pair were seen on a romantic walk, holding hands after a cosy meal at the Primitivo restaurant in LA.

As the couple snuggled up, the smug supermodel was sporting a dazzling bracelet as well as other bling all bought for her by the heart throb.

One diner reported, “At Primitivo Miranda was saying she only wears stuff from Orlando now.”

Bloom was reportedly spending the big bucks at a recent charity auction where he got his hands on some beautiful Afghan jewelery for Kerr.

So it seems like a happy ending for this couple, which could not have come a moment sooner after gossip mounted last month about the couple splitting. Kerr, 25 said, “It doesn’t make any difference to us. We know what the truth is, along with our families and close friends. I don’t even bother reading the reports.”
