Poor Samanthan Ronson was outraged at the attack on her Lilo, after the Mean Girls star was whacked with flour bombs for apparently wearing very unfashionable fur around her shoulders.

DJ Samantha Ronson, 30, wrote on her MySpace blog, “The girl who threw [the flour] acted like an animal herself. I take that back, it’s an insult to animals to group her in with them, my dog is FAR more civilized than that person.”

She sarcastically added, “I think there are plenty of families that could have used that flour for a meal. Nice job, lady.”

A member of the very high profile animal rights group PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals), chucked the flour at Lohan, 22, as she turned up to Paris’s VIP Room Theatre with her girlfriend Ronson, in the wee small hours of Saturday morning. The owner of the nightclub helped a dazed and confused Lilo clean herself up, dusting the flour from her pretty blue sequin dress and the supposed balck fur stole that was at the centre of the fracas.

Ronson further writes, “It’s a pity that some groups feel the need to assault people as opposed to fighting with words. Whenever I feel the need to vent about something that feels unfair to me I reach for my computer, I don’t run out of the house with abusive intentions. I don’t expect everyone to react the same way, but I do expect people to respect each other.”

Well said Samantha, stick up for your leading lady! Although I hear no defense or confirmation about whether that stole really was fur or not…
