Hot latino actress, Eva Mendes has announced to the world that of all the men in it she thinks, wait for it… Liam Gallagher is the “sexiest man alive”!!

The Ghost Rider star sheepishly admits she has had a massive cringey crush on Oasis’ lead singer for some time now. In fact one of the defining moments of her life was when she met the potty mouthed Mancunian backstage after she went to see them live in concert in Los Angeles.

Unlucky for Mendes, but perhaps lucky for her boyfriend, Liam has been married to ex All Saints singer, Nicole Appleton for some time now. Eva is currently seeing George Gargurevich - a producer, natch. She said of her crush, “Liam is definitely one of the sexiest men alive. I love Oasis, but I also love The Stone Roses and The Smiths. I’ve always had a strong affinity to Manchester.”

Mendes loves living it up in the dreary northern city whenever she comes to visit as it it such a contrast to the blistering heat of her Los Angeles home town. The 34 year old star added, “For me, Manchester is the coolest city I can think of. Having been there a few times, I’ve got a lot of friends in the city, I absolutely love the place.

“I was raised on sunshine and beaches. Whenever I go to Manchester it’s pouring with rain and the skies are grey. But I can’t get enough of it.

Whenever I listen to a Smiths record and I hear Morrissey’s voice I wish I was in Manchester.”
