Jackson Post-Mortem Results Delayed

Police are delaying the public release of the Michael Jackson post-mortem results until they have completed their investigation into the tragic singer’s untimely death.

It has been confirmed by the Los Angeles County Coroner’s office that the post-mortem examination of Jackson’s remains and the relevant toxicology tests have been completed.

However, the office have been requested not to publish any of the results of the report until the police finish their investigations into the mystery of the pop legend’s demise.

There is as yet no timescale on when that may be, as Ed Winter, assistant chief coroner refused to speculate. He added that the office would not be taking questions on the results until they are given the green light from the police department.

However, it is likely the results will reveal that the singer was on heavy medication when he passed away at his temporary Beverly Hills home on June 25.

News reports surrounding the police investigation have revealed there has been a significant focus on Jackson’s personal doctor and the role he played in the days preceding the star’s death.

Federal agents have raided and searched Dr Conrad Murray’s home and offices on a number of occassions as they looked for evidence in the past month.

According to sources, the medical professional reportedly provided Jackson with the drug propofol - a heavy sedative - to help the singer sleep shortly before he died.

Dr Murray has not been named as a suspect but court records have identified him as the subject of a manslaughter investigation.
