Supermodel Kate Moss has chosen to go on holiday to the Mediterranean over going to her boyfriend’s concert.

The 35 year old  - who attended Monday night’s Metropolitan Museum of Arts Costume Institute Gala in New York- was asked by her boyfriend – Jamie Hince – to fly out to the US early so that she could watch him play live with his band The Kills.

Unfortunately for him though, the British model turned him down , choosing instead to spend time with the owner of High Street chain Topshop’s owner Sir Philip Green on his yacht.

According to a source: “Jamie is gutted. He’s been on the road for a month and really wants to see Kate. His band had a show at the Webster Hall on Friday and he’s asked Kate to come to it because she was going to New York on Monday anyway.

“But she didn’t want to make time to see him and went on Philip Green’s yacht instead.”

Seems She Prefers To Do The Singing Instead Of The Listening

Jamie and Kate started dating in 2007. He also asked Kate to attend a concert in Washington over the weekend but she also failed to attend those performances too. It’s believed he will ask her to come to watch the band in Canada now, but that she will again refuse.

A friend of Kate’s said: “He is trying to get her to go to the Canada but it’s not looking good.”

However, she made sure to enjoy herself at the exclusive Gala on Monday which was co-hosted by Kate herself, along with fashion designer Marc Jacobs, singer Justin Timberlake and US Vogue editor Anna Wintour.

She even made it a little concert of her own after getting up and performing a duet with Kanye West – a side effect of too much champers I think!

An onlooker described: “Kate loves the song. She went over to say hi to Kanye and they both started rapping it together.”

Stick-thin supermodel Kate Moss is apparently ?beside herself? following Rhys Ifan?s split from Sienna Miller.

The supermodel ? who?s never really been bestest buddies with ?The Edge of Love? actress Sienna ? has been hanging about Rhys since the break-up in an effort to cheer him up.

A source revealed: “Kate seemed beside herself. Rhys spent a few nights with her just after the break-up but he seemed to be in denial. He kept saying he could fix it.

“Kate said she knew exactly what he was going through because she it was similar to when she split from Pete Doherty last year. Kate made a real effort with Sienna for Rhys’ sake and she is upset to see him so devastated.”

In the meantime, Sienna is getting sympathy from her ex-boyfriend Jude Law.

An insider said: “Jude called Sienna and said she shouldn’t worry about what everyone was saying. He told her to focus on how well things were going in Los Angeles, adding that only she and Rhys really knew what happened.”
