In the latest of her exploits to come to light, it is not just her body that is exposed & exploited on the internet, but her vulnerability.

Yesterday semi nude pictures of Peaches Geldof  - looking the worse for wear - were posted on American internet site Reddit.com together with an account of an alleged one night stand with the author, a student identifying himself as ‘thatcoolguyben’.  ‘ben’ claimed that the night involved the pair using heroin that she had brought with her from Britain. The man has since been identified as Ben Mills, a promising student who was expelled from university following an incident where he held a girl hostage at knifepoint.

The images posted were clearly of Peaches with her many famous tattoos in evidence. It was also noted that there was a bloodstained plaster on her thigh.

Her lawyers quickly refuted the allegations regarding the heroin, claiming instead that her appearance was due to alcohol. They did not, however attempt to deny her encounter with the man & stated that the pictures were taken for private use.

This is not the first time there have been allegations of her drug use. In May 2008 she was questioned under caution – but never charged – after she was witnessed on tape offering money to the drug dealer believed to be responsible for supplying cocaine to Amy Winehouse. A couple of months later paramedics attended to her after she reportedly stopped breathing following an overdose.

Peaches – who celebrated her twenty first birthday last weekend - is the daughter of Bob Geldof & the late Paula Yates who died of a heroin overdose in 2000 when Peaches was eleven. Geldof has made his feelings clear in the past regarding the possibility of his daughter taking drugs saying that he would go ‘f…..g ballistic if this happened.

Peaches is rarely out of the news with her various exploits. She is currently involved with the thirty seven year old director of what has been labelled ‘torture porn’ - Eli Roth. Her attempts at pursuing journalism as a career have failed miserably & it is believed her foray into recording an album will fare little better.

While she has claimed not to be following in the footsteps of her mother, & would no doubt see all the negative headlines regarding her ‘antics’ as a positive, there is something tragic about the self destructive behaviour of one so young – perhaps all the more poignant given her heritage on her mother’s side regarding the Hughie Greene/Jess Yates saga.

There is tragedy too, in the ability of a parent to help others – as Bob Geldof has undoubtedly & genuinely been able to do on a vast scale – but who is unable, for one reason or another, & not necessarily through any fault of their own, to reach & help their own child.

Peaches Geldof (that’s the girl who thinks she’s a celebrity) and her new husband have done something that everyone who gets married after a week of knowing each other should do…get tattoos of each other’s names.

The daughter of  Sir Bob Geldof, Peaches, 19, and musician boyfriend Max Drummey, 23, got married in a shock – well to her boyfriend at least – Showing off there new ink at the New York Twiglet Fashion show, Peaches has ‘Max’ tattooed in Old English script on her left inner wrist, with Max having ‘Peaches’ on his wrist to match.

Sir Bob was said to be “incandescent with rage” when he heard about his daughter’s wedding, as he wasn’t told about it until just before the ceremony.

Peaches however, is a known idiot, as she already has a tattoo of a noose, designed by her ex-boyfriend Faris Badwan, to symbolise that she was “owned by him”.

Peaches is back in the UK with her sister Pixie for the opening of London Fashion Week, which runs until Friday.
